Thanksgiving Break

These last two weeks have been wonderful!  We were lucky to have Lee home, got to do a lot of fun things, played all day, and went to California to see family!  I think we are all bored now that break is over...it will probably take a couple of days for Damon to get used to just me and him again!
At the Children's Museum...going through a bike car wash
Reading a bedtime story with Grammy
 Wearing Papa's shoes
 Playing at the park
It was fun to have Damon play at a park I played at growing up!
 One very happy Grandma!
Yes, Damon is still obsessed with his Papa
 The boys after playing catch
Damon LOVED sweeping the leaves off of the cabin deck
 Love these two!
 Helping Papa sweep
 Hanging out with Spencer
 He loved running with Kelsey
Playing dinosaurs with my Aunt Brooke
Taking Granny for a walk with her oxygen line
Uncle Phil helping Damon shoot a BB gun
I was so happy to be able to spend so much time with Lee and Kels
 Damon with his Auntie
Mom, Dad and Lee trying to hit cans in the driveway
Heidi taking Damon exploring
We had such a great time with family.  We loved spending time at the Carmack's cabin/mountain home, loved being at Papa and Grammy's house, loved having Lee home, and loved being together!  We are so thankful for the most wonderful families!

Tolmachoff Farms

We have had such a great week!  Lee hasn't had school this week, so we have done a lot of playing!  Today, we went to a pretty fun farm.  Damon is LOVING having Lee home.  He has always been a Mama's boy...but this week, it is a different story.  He wants Lee all day (until he gets hurt, and wants me). I am happy for them, but I am feeling a little jealous!  Haha.
He kept trying to stick his fingers in the pony's nose!
I love my boys
He was so happy that his Daddy was there.  He pretty much only wanted to hold his hand.
Having fun in a little train thing
The sun was right in our eyes!
About to enter the corn maze
It was a huge maze.  It took us a while to finish!
He had to stop every ten yards, pick up some corn stalk, and play with it.
 :)
There was a pit full of dried corn.  It was pretty fun for Damon, but grossed me out a little bit...especially when Damon tried to eat it!
We are excited for one more fun week with Lee before he goes back to school.  We got Damon's one year pictures/family pictures yesterday and they are amazing.  I am excited to post them when I get them on a CD.

Silly

Damon makes us laugh everyday.  He is quite a funny little boy and keeps us entertained!
 Wearing his cool shades!
LOVES brooms.  I have to try and sweep every night in secret, because if he catches me sweeping, he runs to me, grabs hold to the broom and doesn't let go.  A little girl was a witch for Halloween and had a broom...Damon kept trying to take it away!
Thinks its funny to bite on his spoon and not let me take it out of his mouth.
 His silly face.
Puts the big basketball in his little hoop and likes seeing it get stuck and have Mama get it out one hundred times a day!
Yes, I let me child air out a few times a day!  He loves laying on the counter when I am brushing my teeth and sucking water out of the toothbrush.
 Happy boy.
He found a collection of binkies.  He thought it was fun to rotate between them every few seconds.  He also likes being upside-down.
Yes, I was supervising him and made sure he didn't fall.  He still loves sitting in any kind of basket.  Even the smallest ones possible.
 A little better view.
Thinks it is pretty funny to wear his sunglasses on the back of his neck.
He is so much fun and makes us smile :)

Three times a Chicken

Damon was a lucky little guy and got to wear his Halloween costume three times!  The first time was at our ward's trunk-or-treat.  It was actually pretty chilly outside (we had to wear sweatshirts!), which was great for Damon's costume.  We were worried he would get too hot, but it was perfect.
He was having so much fun running around everywhere.
Playing with his friend Nora.  He liked her hat.
He liked her hat so much that one second we turned around, and the next, he had taken it off her head and put it on his own!
We were so glad that Daddy was able to come with us!

Next, Damon and I were off to go trunk-or-treating with Mike, Eden and the boys!  It was so great seeing our nephews dressed up, and nice for me to hang out with family.  I didn't get a picture of all the boys, so sad.  Damon acted like a true chicken.  All he wanted to do the whole time was play with sticks and pick in the rocks and dirt with a spoon.
I stole this picture from Eden's blog.  Cow and Chicken!!
Cute little chicken.

Last, we went to the Midwestern Halloween party.  It was much hotter this time, so we had to pick and choose when we would have Damon wear his costume.  We let him carry around his little pumpkin, but didn't get any treats (I know, we are mean...he hasn't had a taste of candy yet!).  He loved being able to run around, play with kids, and play in the dirt and grass.
There was one room that was a little spooky with scary voices...Damon stood like this the whole time and would not walk in!
Running down the halls with Daddy.
Resting.  He did so great with his costume.  He never tried to take it off.  If anything, I think he felt restricted and was a little bit confused.
A picture with his friends.  These are the friends we get to play with every week!  MiKya, Tyler and Jacoby.  We love them and are so lucky to have such great friends here.
 Mommy and Damon :)
Done with the chicken costume.  It was time for some digging in dirt and grass.  He loves it.  I like how he is completely sprawled out.
Playing in a pile of dead grass.  We sure had a great Halloween and it was really fun to watch Damon enjoy all the things we did.
