Two months

Our little guy is already two months old! I am pretty sure time goes faster with your second baby. He is starting to do a little better, which makes us very happy. Damon still can't get enough of him and feels like he needs to kiss him every three minutes. He is becoming quite the chunky baby...which makes me happy :) At his two month appointment, he was:

24 in - 83rd percentile

12 lbs 7 oz - 65th percentile (exact same weight Damon was at 2 months, weird)

...and he has a small head (18th percentile)...pediatrician said he takes after me. I had no idea I had a small head, but the doctor has now pointed out that I do two times :( Haha.

He loves sleeping on his Daddy :)

Damon loves holding Tate...and he wants to do it all by himself.

He is becoming more and more smiley. He still is always sticking out his tongue though..grr.

Kyla and Presley

Kyla and Presley came to visit us recently, and we loved every minute of it! It was great having my sister and adorable nephew here with us. It was fun to have all three little boys together. Damon loved Presley, just didn't like when he drooled on his toys...haha. We also got to hang out with Uncle Tim too for a day :)

I think this is so sweet...so happy!

Two!!!

Damon is two! How did that happen? He is the best, most handsome, most fun little boy in the whole world (we think so at least!). I love that I get to spend my days with him.

He LOVES tractors (and fire trucks, airplanes, cars, etc.)

He is a pretty great talker, and can string together up to 5 words. He says some words funny, for example:

truck - "kuck"

airplane - "pee plane"

tractor - "trackie"

smoothie - "moothie"

chicken - "chickie"

milk - "nilk"
penguin - "paingie"

He thinks every second spent with Lee is the best time of his life. He loves to play with his Daddy. They can be very loud together and sometimes give me a headache :)

He is very nice and polite, always saying "thank you Mom" or "thank you Dada."

He LOVES Tate...sometimes a little too much. He is always kissing him and hugging him. When Tate starts to cry, he tells me to feed him...haha.

He loves his little friends and is constantly asking to go to their houses to play.

He likes to take stuffed animals, books and a tractor or two to bed, and he falls asleep on top of all of them. I don't know how he does it. He shoves them all under his belly, along with his blankets, and falls asleep. I have to take them all out from under him before I go to bed.

Anytime Damon, Lee or I have an owie, he kisses it and tells me that we need medicine.

He loves to color and draw.

He loves to play and run outside.

He still gives the best kisses in the world.

There are so many great things about him and we love him SO much!

Helping Daddy fix the tire. He loves to help do everything (clean, sweep, carry Tate's carseat, push a shopping cart, rake leaves, etc.)

He always makes some weird face when I ask him to smile for the camera.

Damon with his friends. We are so lucky to have such great friends here!

Damon got his first hair cut on his 2nd birthday. It made me so sad, but he needed it.

Damon drew that happy face all by himself, without anyone around. I was so impressed. The extra triangle by the right eye is his cheek (at least that is what Damon told me).

Damon loves to share toys with Tate. He wanted him to have an airplane just like him.

One month

Tate is one month old! Feels like both the fastest and longest month of my life at the same time. We sure do love having him in our family. Damon is absolutely in love with his little brother. He is never mean to him, and is always showering him in kisses. It has been a rough month with this tricky little baby...still not able to figure him out quite yet, but boy do we love him!
