California

We went to visit my parents in California for three weeks!  Lee was able to be there for one week, but then had to go to Ohio for the Air Force.  We had such a great time.  Damon did really well and loved being around his Papa, Grandma, Aunts and Uncles.  We got to see extended family a lot too, so that was great.

 This was so cute.  After playing hard and being out of control, he crawled into the front room by himself, picked up a book and started pointing to pictures and making soft talking noises to himself.  I snuck a picture.

Nine Months

On the 28th, our little one turned nine months old.  He really is the most amazing person we know!  I know I always say it, but I wish time would slow down.  He is such a great baby boy.  He is full of energy and has such a fun personality.

He is starting to stand up for seconds at a time by himself, he likes to try and throw balls, he loves books, he follows us everywhere we go, he likes to crawl with a toy/stuffed animal/book in his hand, he is a great eater, he makes this funny croaking sounds in his throat when he eats, he loves to try and copy us (our facial expressions, actions and sometimes even words), he sleeps from about 8 to 6:30, loves to empty drawers/cupboards/laudry basket, and is loving having his Daddy home more this summer!
At nine months: weight - 22 lbs 3 oz (76th percentile), height - 29 1/4 in (82nd percentile)

San Francisco

My Mom, Kyla, Kendra, Damon and I went up to San Francisco for an afternoon and met up with my good friend Courtney.  We had a great time!  We went to Fisherman's Wharf and Ghirardelli Square, did lots of walking, watched Kendra fight off birds, got blown away by the wind, and loved watching Damon smile and laugh through it all.

Monterey

While we were in California, we went to Monterey for a day so Damon could play with Charlotte :)  It is so nice there!  We went on a long walk, played with the babies and went out to eat.

Great weekend

This past weekend was much needed.  All of the Buchanan family was together, and it was perfect!  I got to meet my beautiful niece Charlotte as well :)
