Flagstaff

We went to Flagstaff this past weekend to meet up with some of our good friends, the Crowther's.  It was so nice to spend some time with them!  We haven't seen them in almost a year.  It was also nice to have some cooler weather for the weekend.  It even rained.  Hopefully we can meet up again soon!!

Our little guy has figured out how to work all of his facial muscles.  He is constantly making funny faces.  We love it.  

He also has 5 teeth now!  Three came in this last week and a half.

Fourth of July

We had a great fourth of July this year.  We didn't get to see any fireworks because of some little guy needing his sleep, but we did hear them!  We started off the morning right, making breakfast with our good friends Tyler, Missy and Jacoby.  Damon loves Jacoby... he crawls after him constantly and always wants to be right next to him.  Damon was a little crabby that morning though, because his 3rd tooth made its way through (now he's working on his 4th).

In the afternoon, we went over to Mike and Eden's and had a great rest of the day.  We swam, talked, ate and Damon got to see his cousins.  He is always very entertained by them :)

California

We went to visit my parents in California for three weeks!  Lee was able to be there for one week, but then had to go to Ohio for the Air Force.  We had such a great time.  Damon did really well and loved being around his Papa, Grandma, Aunts and Uncles.  We got to see extended family a lot too, so that was great.

 This was so cute.  After playing hard and being out of control, he crawled into the front room by himself, picked up a book and started pointing to pictures and making soft talking noises to himself.  I snuck a picture.

Nine Months

On the 28th, our little one turned nine months old.  He really is the most amazing person we know!  I know I always say it, but I wish time would slow down.  He is such a great baby boy.  He is full of energy and has such a fun personality.

He is starting to stand up for seconds at a time by himself, he likes to try and throw balls, he loves books, he follows us everywhere we go, he likes to crawl with a toy/stuffed animal/book in his hand, he is a great eater, he makes this funny croaking sounds in his throat when he eats, he loves to try and copy us (our facial expressions, actions and sometimes even words), he sleeps from about 8 to 6:30, loves to empty drawers/cupboards/laudry basket, and is loving having his Daddy home more this summer!
At nine months: weight - 22 lbs 3 oz (76th percentile), height - 29 1/4 in (82nd percentile)
