A very welcomed visit

I know I haven't been posting much, not much exciting has been going on, and Damon manages to always turn his head when I try and take a picture.  After a month, I have a few new ones with him looking at me. Better though, Grammy and Papa came for a visit!!  We don't get to see family very often, so this was very exciting, and Damon was in heaven.  It took a few minutes to get used to the idea that they were here in person rather than on the computer via skype, but soon he was off having fun.
Giving me a little stink eye
 He loves to stack blocks
 Waving hi
 Helping Daddy clean his bottle
Coloring with Papa
Kicking up and relaxing on a wagon ride
We went to feed the ducks...big scary geese came along and he would not go near them and was afraid
 Grammy and Papa
 He loves the slide!
 At the Children's Museum
 Playing in a ball room
 Sitting with Grammy
He loved this sand table
He went crazy for this xylophone.  I wish I got more video of it when he was really dancing and going crazy!

Lately

Not much to blog about lately!  We've just been enjoying the weather, going on lots of walks and park trips.  Damon is still growing too fast, Lee is still always studying, and I am still fairly boring!  Here are some pictures to hold you over.
He likes to go into the laundry holder after I empty it.
I thought these three were cute
We went to a hot air balloon festival one night with our friends.  It was pretty fun!
 Love my boys.

Back home

We are officially recovered from our trip, healthy, and having fun playing outside everyday!  Added bonus...Auntie Kyla got to spend two days with us :)
Trying to blow in the choo choo train whistle.  It is pretty sad/funny...when I blow in it, it scares him and he buries his face into my body.
 xo
Playing with his cars.  He says cars now and it is so cute.  I think in this picture, he is trying to make them crash.
 So happy at the park!
Playing in the mulch and water
 Showing Kyla his dirty hands
He pushed his stroller home most of the way, and thought it was funny to chase Kyla and try to run into her.
 Hanging out

Christmas

This year, we were able to spend Christmas in Utah with the Babbel's.  We had a fun first week, but it went downhill the second week :(  Most of the family got the flu, including me and Damon.  It was pretty horrible.  We still enjoyed our time there and had a fun Christmas.
Damon was obsessed with Bentley.  He loved that little dog more than anything.  Here he is trying to give him kisses.
My sweet little niece!!  I love spending time with these two...I just wish I could do it more often.
Since there was NO snow...we had to drive up the canyon to take Damon sledding.  He loved it.  We would let him go down all by himself, and eventually, Bentley went along for the ride!
 All bundled up!
Christmas Eve in his Christmas jammies
Christmas morning...the flu had already begun.  Damon still enjoyed his new books and toys.  He was so cute with his new little horses.  He would hold them and so sweetly say "neigh, neigh"
Going on a walk with Grandpa
Damon has the most kissable, perfect lips I have EVER seen.  He makes the best pucker.
 Running to his Mama
 I love this boy
 Sliding down the stairs
Yes, he even saved kisses for the cat.  Don't worry...I wouldn't let him actually do it!

Four years

On December 29th, Lee and I celebrated our four year anniversary.  It has been an amazing four years, and I am excited for the rest of our years together!

I saw Santa

We had our ward Christmas party the other night, and I was especially excited to go because Santa was going to be there.  I was pretty sure that Damon would not like Santa (he doesn't like any stranger to touch or hold him), and I was correct.  The second he saw Santa, he tried to get away.  I really wanted a picture though, so I made him sit on his lap for 5 seconds while I snapped a picture.  I am so glad I did.
Trying to get off of his lap
A little balancing on Daddy's hand made it all better!
 Damon and Daddy coloring
Lee tried to take a picture of me and Damon...it turns out there are very few pictures of us two.  I think that always happens with the Mom!
After we saw Santa, we had dinner at the church.  Damon was being restless, so Lee took him out into the halls to run around.  Turns out, Santa was down the hall from Damon.  Lee said he saw him from about 40 yards, started crying and ran the other way!  Haha.  Maybe next year...

Fourteen months

Okay, so I realize I skipped thirteen...and I will probably skip a lot more,  and now this is a few weeks late!, but I thought I could do one every once in a while.  Once again, time goes WAY too fast.  I was watching a video of Damon from when he was eight months old, and it was amazing how much he has changed since then.  Lee and I love this little guy more than anything, he is tons of fun, funny, full of excitement and energy, so handsome, and best of all...ours!  He has been trying to say more words lately: clock, stick, blue, black, green, tree, moon, car, Papa.  He does not walk...he runs.  He loves to laugh, and has such a cute one.  He still has a buddha belly.  He has to constantly be entertained, and always wants me right next to him.  Spoiled?  Probably.  He's worth it.  I am also slightly happy to say that he is back to being a Mama's boy :)  I haven't taken many pictures lately, because my camera is horrible.

Some one year pictures (a little late)
Every once in a while he likes to sit by himself and watch a you tube video
He still likes to get into the tissue boxes
He likes to carry around big boxes
